Architectural Philosophy
Architecture is the art and science of building. The architect is the composer of the building design, and the conductor who orchestrates all the various components of a project to ensure the design develops cohesively. At Abbotts Creek Studio, our role is to understand our Clients' vision, discover the unique goals and challenges, and to integrate specialty consultants early, including engineers and contractors as needed, to ensure project development is well orchestrated. We do not have a defined style. Each project is unique and is treated with individualized care and attention. We keep the line of communication open and utilized frequently. Our relationship with our clients is of utmost priority, and therefore, our clients experience first class design and project management services.
Building Design
From concept to reality, we leverage technology to bring our clients' vision to life. We utilize the latest Building Information Modeling (BIM) to create 3-D renderings, walkthroughs, and construction documents that are meticulously detailed, coordinated, and communicate the design intent clearly. We bring the client to the design table by sharing those models and ensuring they are a part of the design process.
Engineer Coordination
We are connected to a network of engineering consultants who pride themselves in the quality of their work and standard of care. We bring them to the table early and often as needed to ensure the building design is cohesive and performs at a high level of efficiency. We work to thoroughly coordinate all of our engineering consultants including Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical, to ensure construction proceeds in the most efficient manner possible.
Project Management
Building design and construction can be stressful. We take that burden from our clients by managing the design process and working closely with General Contractors through construction to ensure design intent is met. We maintain project schedules and budgets through each phase of the project. We pay attention to the details and work to ensure the project vision is constructed with as minimal disruption and changes as possible.
